Message from the Chief:
   Neoga's Police Department has more than 5 years invested in what is called Community Oriented Policing.
   The only way for a small, modestly-funded agency to police a community is to enlist its residents as partners.  It's one of those things that sounds simple, but translates into a series of complex issues.
   We've learned that if our citizens see that they have a stake in their own safety, both at home and in the business community, enough of them are willing to participate to deter crime. Please join with us in efforts to make our community a safe and secure place to work, live, and play.

 "To optimize public safety in the City of Neoga," The Neoga Police Dept., in concert with other agencies and the citizens of Neoga, is instrumental in preserving the quality of life in our community by maintaining Neoga as a secure place in which to live, work, and play.  In so doing, we are dedicated philosophically and operationally to the concept of community based policing. Our primary focus is on crime prevention, crime detection and apprehension, traffic safety, and our most effective tools are positive community relations, education, problem-solving and use of current technology.
