Welcome To the homepage of Shane Lewis! I am a 30 year old from Greenup, Illinois! I am a 1994 graduate of Cumberland High School. I am currently an employee of Wal*Mart after working 6 years at Quebeccor World (formally World Color Press) in Effingham, Illinois before the plant closed. I have two degrees from Lake Land College, History and Computer Information Systems and a Web Page Design Degree from Education Direct (now named Penn Foster Career School) I eventually would like to take a few more classes involving web page design and then look for a job in a field related to that or in a computer programming type environment.

About Me:

• My love in life is sports, baseball in particular! The St. Louis Cardinals are by far my favorite sports team! I live, eat, and breathe St. Louis Cardinals. I try to attend 20 games or so a year. Going to games is something that I really enjoy. I love the atmosphere more than anything...and there is no other baseball atmosphere like in St. Louis. The whole city revolves around Cardinals baseball making the whole experience even better. I also enjoy eating way too many Hunter League Leader Hot Dogs and going home with an upset stomach after each game. LOL Some of my favorite players are Todd Helton, Albert Pujols, JD Drew, Miguel Cabrera, Jason Bay, Johan Santana, and Mark Mulder.

• I also enjoy going to basketball games. I am former season ticket holder for Illinois Basketball and still try to make several games a year...hopefully I will someday get season tix again. I also enjoy going and watching several of the local high school teams play. The ultimate High School Basketball watching for me occurs each December at Savvis Center in St. Louis at the KMOX/Shop N Save Shootout. This shootout features some of the best basketball teams in the nation as well as some of Illinois and Missouri's best teams.

• I am also one of those millions of fanatic Star Wars collectors! I have collected most of the new figures from the prequal movies. It makes me sick thinking of all the Star Wars stuff that I had when I was younger and what it would be worth now. I am currently trying to pick up a lot of the stuff I have lost in the past and putting my collection back together. As far as the movies go, my favorite is Return of the Jedi with Revenge of the Sith being a close second. Currently I am converting my oldest nephew into a Star Wars fanatic.

• Some of my favorite TV current programs include: American Idol, Scrubs, That 70's Show, Survivor, SportsCenter, Baseball Tonight, South Park, The Apprentice, and Around the Horn.

• Favorite Movies include: Serendipity, Old School, Meet the Parents/Fockers, The Star Wars Trilogy and Prequals, The Sweetest Thing, Forrest Gump,She's All That, Save the Last Dance, any baseball movie, and just about all stupid comedies (movies that are so stupid, that they are funny...ex American Pie movies).

• Favorite Actors/Actress' include: Katie Holmes, Julia Stiles, Renee Zellweger, Morgan Freeman, Samuel L. Jackson, and Ben Stiller.

• Music Interest: I will listen to about any kind of music, although I don't care too much for some of the newer heavier rock music! Favorite Artist currently include: Michelle Branch, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, Coldplay, Shania Twain, and Outkast. All Time Favorites are: Mariah Carey, Guns N Roses, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and Phil Collins (Genesis)

OTHER INTEREST and HOBBIES:

• I love to go bowling. I don't bowl much anymore because all my friends are married and have kids, or have nothing better to do than drive around and get drunk. LOL
• I also love playing miniature golf...but don't play much anymore (see above).
• Spending all my money on eBay...mostly on Star Wars stuff.
• Cruising around listening to the Cardinals games. It's not the same without Jack Buck announcing, but still very entertaining and the next best thing to being there in person.
• Playing golf (when I can afford it), although I am not very good.
• Playing a little Playstation (mostly sporting games).
• Listening to all kinds of music...and attempting to be a singer LOL
• Playing fantasy sports...I am in charge of a fantasy football league called the CIFL (Central Illinois Football League) and co commissioner of the "Take Two" Fantasy Baseball League. These leagues are a lot of work but they provide fun for about everyone and that makes them well worth it.
• Walking...I started walking a lot off and on after I graduated from High School. These days during I mainly walk before and during my lunch breaks at work.
• Riding my bike...I try to ride at least 2 miles a day during the summer when it's nice out.
• But most of all, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and their families! I don't know what I would do without them! I love hanging out with them all and watching their kids grow.
