Deadman guy anchor for W9MBD's towers
A cubic yard of concrete with lots of steel reinforcing in a grave digger's hole forms a "dead man" (three feet by six feet by 1.5 feet thick) for anchoring guy wires bracing the 190 foot Rohn 45G tower. The 1.25 inch galvanized anchor rod is heavier than standard Rohn fare. The heavier home-built tower uses a similar "dead man" buried a bit deeper.
