We Believe

• In one supreme God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; co-equal and co-eternal.
• In the Virgin birth, the vicarious sacrifice, the bodily resurrection, ascension, and the second coming of our Lord.
• In the work of the Holy Spirit.
• In the divinely inspired word of God as our only rule of faith and practice.
• In the free moral agency of man.
• In Baptism by immersion, feetwashing, and the Lord's Supper as the ordinances of the church.
• That the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man consists only of the company of those who are born again and saved through faith in Jesus Christ.

History of Casey White Oak Church

The Casey White Oak Church is actually a combination of two churches. In 1978, the Casey Church of God and the White Oak Church of God joined together and built one building for both congregations. The Casey Church of God was organized in 1931 by Rev. L. E. Bradley. The White Oak Church of God was organized in 1877 by Elder J. Lindsey.

It is rare for two churches to merge, but the two churches have combined successfully and operate fully as one church today.

Additional office space, Sunday School classrooms, and a fellowship hall were added to the existing building in 1992.

Denominational Affiliation

Casey White Oak Church of God is a member of the Midwest Region, Churches of God General Conference, located in Findlay, Ohio.  The General Conference is associated with the University of Findlay and operates Winebrenner Theological Seminary.
