Holding On To Your Faith

Holding on to your faith is something that isn't always easy to do. And besides that, it's hard to explain about holding on to something you can't see.

God created us with all the senses we would need in this life–seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and feeling. They all have to do with things that are, for the most part, tangible.

But when it comes to faith, it's a little more difficult for us. We can't see it! We can't hear it! We can't smell it! We can't even taste it! But we can feel it! It's kind of like the wind, only on a higher plain!

Jesus invites us to believe in him through faith, offering us the promise of eternal life. The awesome part of this is that even though we can't see him, he gives us the power to believe and trust, and he sends His Holy Spirit to live in us. He puts a joy in our hearts and fills us with love.

So when it becomes difficult to hold on to your faith, trust God's Word and remember, it's not the things you see that really count, but the things you can't see!
