A worm known as W32/SirCam@mm or Backdoor.SirCam is spreading.
It distributes itself using Microsoft Outlook Express email and has the potential to distribute private documents saved on your hard drive.
It arrives as an email message containing the following text: Hi! How are you?
I send you this file in order to have your advice See you later. Thanks.
The second line may also say: I hope you can help me with this file that I send - or
I hope you like the file that I send to you - or This is the file with the information that you ask for
Following the message is an attachment which may have the file extension .bat, .com., .lnk. or .pif.
It is important that you do NOT open any attachments!
