When you call the pager number above: you'll hear a voice message then at the beep push the buttons on your telephone that correspond to the phone number you want us to call you back at and then hit # to hear a confirmation that it ws received.

We can resolve your problem quicker if you call tech support at the numbers above. However, if you are unable to call, you can also e-mail suggestions@rr1.net or fill out this form.

Before you call tech support:

  • Be sure to acurately record any error messages that you received relating to the problem.
  • You'll need to be on a phone next to your computer so we can check your setting.
  • Make sure the person on the phone is the one operating the computer
  • Try to keep your phone line free after paging between 5pm and Midnight.  If you continue to try to dail the Internet, your phone is busy and we can't return the call.
  • Try to locate your Cumberland Internet CD-ROM, we may need to run it to fix your problem.
  • Wait about 20 minutes before paging again, we may be helping someone else.

Tips you can try before calling Tech Support:

  • Reboot your computer and try to connect again. Sounds too easy, but it solves many problems.
  • If it seems to not accept your password, check your username and your password, it could be referring to either even though it's asking for the password. Make sure your "caps lock" light is NOT on.
  • Make sure your phone line is plugged into your modem.
  • If you have call waiting on your phone, you may need to disable it in order to stay connected to the Internet.
