If you are using Internet Explorer and your computer is more than 1.5 years old, you could be due for an update to your
Internet Software.
You can check it by opening your Internet Explorer and then clicking on Help then About Internet Explorer and
you'll see the version number. If you are using a version number lower than 5.0, there is an updated version available.
If you are using a version that starts with a 3 then the update is even more important. There are a number of new
features available for web designers and they are using these tools.
If you try to look at their web pages, you may not see the page as it was intended or you may get an error. This is because your Internet software is not able to process those new web page tools. If you update your Internet Explorer software, it will also update your e-mail to Outlook Express. Please just know that this change will occur if you update your software.
If you are using a version that starts with a 4 then you'll see a minor update in your e-mail but it will still be Outlook
Express software.
It is free to download the new version of the Internet Explorer but there are some disadvantages to downloading it
including: the difficulty in downloading the software, the time it takes to download, the problems if you have any trouble installing the downloaded version.
Cumberland Internet, Inc. is offering a CD that has the newest version of Internet Explorer on it for $6.
This CD also has quite a bit of other software that you can install.
